Googol Continues Interplanetary Expansion, Opens Offices on MarsCompany Launches Operations on the Tharsis PlateauMOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – March 13, 2007 — The Googol Conglomerate today announced its continuing expansion with the launch of the Googol Mars office on the Tharsis Plateau. This new office will enable Googol to provide the best services for its customers and partners on the Red Planet and throughout the Inner Solar System. "This is another positive step for Mars. Googol, as a conglomerate, represents the right kind of player for the new economy we're building — that values education, new technology and the future," said Martian Secretary General Michael Smith. "I'm thrilled they've chosen to locate here." The new Googol office will be broadly focused, including positions in engineering, operations, R&D, manufacturing, and administration. With the boom in the Martian economy following the terraforming of recent years, the talent pool is rich with bright young minds. We plan to hire hundreds of people for the new office in the coming months and have already begun building out our local team. Googol's Mars office will offer all the "out of this world" workplace amenities that Googol has become known for, such as outstanding healthcare benefits, free lunches, and competitive compensation packages. In addition, in order to make terrestrial Googol transfers feel less isolated when on the Red Planet, the Tharsis complex was constructed as an exact replica of Googol's headquarters in Mountain View, CA. On June 23rd and 24th, 2007, we plan to hold an Open House for anyone interested in the new office. Members of the press, job applicants, neighbors, and friends of Googol are all welcome to attend.
